A listing guide for selling on Grailed

Make the difference from the beginning with a great listing.

Millions of people publish their products on Grailed everyday. However, not a million of people actually sell their products on Grailed everyday. First of all, you need to be patient; it takes some days to sell a product on the app. The better you list the products, the quicker you will sell them. Selling on grailed requires the best of you, at least if you want to make easy and quick money.

The photos

There is a list of tips and requirements that Grailed asks you for the photos of your products. First of all, it must be tagged. This means that you must send a photo of the products with a paper with your name, the date and the word “Grailed” on it to confirm the authenticity. After that, a list of conditions the photos must have:

– Clear pictures. No burry, no moves.

– Detailed photos. You may show every detail of the article, it does not matter how many photos it takes you to do it.

– Tags. The wash and the traditional tag. 

– Stamp. A close up photo of it, to see the condition.

– Hardware. If the buttons or the zip are from another company, it should be shown.

– Serial number

– Receipt

– Sneaker tongue, inner tag, insole, outsole, laces and box.

Listing information

Is important to be clear and concise when listing the product. The more unnecessary information, the less possibilities of selling it.

The title is what people read first so it must be clear. Do not invent weird names; if you do not know how to title it, copy the original designer´s name.

Measurements give you 40% more chances to sell the product. People are more sure when they have the whole information they need right there. In addition, not every brand has the same measurements, so it is a big plus to bring people that information.

Use tags wisely. You can only use 10 tags, so think well which ones you will use. The more related to the product, the better chances you have.

Pricing is the hardest part. We all want to earn as much money as we can but we need to be careful because there are thousands of people trying to sell similar products at a lower price. We need to investigate and make an average of prices, where we should stand ours.

 

Post listing

Pay attention to the feedback of the clients. If it has passed a few days and you have no news, try to edit the listing information, price or tags in order to get a better position. The same happens if many people ask you the same: try to add that information in the description. Furthermore, if someone makes you an offer, try to consider it or at least make a counter-offer, many sales are done in this way, do not stay attached to the original price, always drop and bump.
